I've had a good time trying to make my dolls look like characters I've had in mind for quite a while. But having the money to dress them...well, clothes are sooo expensive, and I've made due with some my Sis has come up with. (And I might add that her hiphop pants I love!!!)
I don't know how to sew a lick! But it's time I learned! I think I'll start designing a few different things and see if I can put them together...if they fit...great, but if they don't...well, back to the old drawing board! I've got some good ideas, so maybe I can bring them to life. Wish me luck!
My dolls seem to be ever changing in their looks...I sometimes wonder if I will ever be satisfied!
Rain has changed again, but I'm thinking that this is the look he should have. He was my first BJD, so I have a very warm place in my heart for him. Besides, I think he's a looker!
Seth is another who keeps changing, but has finally got to a place we're both comfortable with...with the exception of a few smudges that I didn't see before I sprayed him! ...grrrr! But I hate his girlie hands, and I'm looking for more masculine ones to put on him! I found some at Iplehouse that I really like, and I think will fit nicely.

I've still yet to find a body for Kaleb, but my sister can't stand him! LOL! She said he's got a black eye, and I have to agree that I didn't spread his color very well below that one eye. I'll have to take it off, or fix it...which I hate to ruin his lashes.

He's my evil character, but he doesn't look it...yet.
And Grim, hasn't changed since I did him the first time. I modded his ears, yes, because they were baaaad! But he just turned out so sweet looking, and he's quite a ham at picture time! I love him! My ugly duckling turned swan! Sis gave him hip-hop jeans and a sweater, and he's got some new socks and shoes...love their shoes! I put on chains, and a belt-like thing. So much you can do with them!
Want to get some punk clothes for Seth, as he's a little odd dressed at the moment. Rain likes normal clothes, so he's not hard to dress. Grim? Well, he's dressed the way Grim dresses, and no one can say anything about it...he thinks he looks cool in everything!
Getting me ready for that seminar on faceup's at our library. I hope everything will be okay, or that nobody shows up! That would be good. LOL!

I did the eyebrows already on the blank head to speed the process a bit. But the eyebrows aren't perfect...duh! I never can get them perfect! No matter how much time I spend on them! Sis wanted them white, so I did the best I could. That leaves me with blushing, bottom eyelashes, lips, ears, inserting eyelashes. So those should be fairly easy to do in front of a small crowd of kids. Most of it will be blushing.

I'll let everyone know how it went! Tuesday, 6pm the 7th, is the big day!
Have a Great Day!

One of my favorite kitty artists...

...she did this amazing little piece of art and animated it. It's always been one of my favorites, I was so happy to see it in motion.
